My new life motto in hoping to live life to the fullest:
Living life out loud to its fullest capacity!
Loving lives as deep as I could!
Laughing as much and as loud as I can!
Latching on to God's grace as tight as possible!

Learning to enjoy myself...
Was on the beach having coffee with wife this morning. Sitting on the beach-chair, thinking of what we're doing and what we're going to do later. As we were discussing, I realized how easy I was in getting myself busy even with the idea of relaxation...
Earlier, while trying to do my daily bible-reading, the temptation of the hurried-mind created a mental block in getting the insights I needed to fuel my soul.
Therefore, I decided, while taking the swing, to let things be as it is. I guess it has to start from letting things go as it should. I use to believe there is no such thing as letting nature take its flow as everything must/should have it's purpose and as industrious human-beings, we ought to take charge and manage. Well, however true that conviction may-be...NOT APPLICABLE TO HOLIDAYS!!! :)
As such, we took it easy.. I went on upload photos, did some emails, watching the opposite unit watching TV, listening to Joanne Wang and Diana Krall while wife took a dip on the tub. Hmm.. what a peaceful and easy-going sunday afternoon...

Learning to learn
2011, a new year for me and it's been 3-days after turning 28.
Started to realize that I needed some new good habits to replace the old ones. And there are indeed some habits that I should start cultivating for the benefit of longevity and joyfulness.
Habits are: (not in order of priority)
1. Write down lessons learnt in life
2. Spend time with wife an-hour a day
3. Recording my finances
4. Pray and connect with God
5. Have a 5-10min exercise
6. Read my bible.
God willing.. I need to do these daily!

Thoughts on Taking Chance
I just finished watching a show I never thought would leave such a deep impact in my thoughts and feelings.
Taking Chance is a movie in dedication to those who passed during the Operation Iraqi Freedom Tour of Duty in 2004.
I learnt a lot about how the deceased were honoured. Somehow, I began to think more about my life in the way I lived my life. The chinese have a saying about 'living to leave a legacy behind', and I sure hope that I could live a life of such.
I like a few quotes during the movie. One that moved me a lot was during a time when the Escort was feeling down about his involvement, it pains him to wonder what he was doing with his life. An old Korean Veteran reminded him the fact he was there, it bears witness. And without witness, 'they' meaning the deceased, just disappears.
Another quote was written by Chance's platoon commander, in his letter to the family, he wrote that the deceased has died a hero, and most importantly, lived his life as a hero. He mentioned that ironically, if this world would be filled with more of such person like him, there wouldn't be a need for a Marine Corps.
I wondered and thought... good man seems to pass really quickly. I guess that's how life is. As good times passes by really quickly, good people passes on real quick too. Ironic isn't it.
Anyway, it's been an unexpectedly heavy evening, I just hope that the lessons I learnt today can help me to be more grateful and to take more honor in the life I lead, especially in fighting battles for others around me. Yes, for freedom-in-Christ!

Learning to Live A Long Life
Recently a news article published that Scientists found out that people who fast, naturally live a longer life. (That may also explains why Muslims generally live longer lives than chinese.)
Conclusion: God designed fasting so that we can be less stressed out with our self-overly-complicated mind and focus on Him.
My uncle (Dad's Friend), is 78 years old. He still go to work on his own, use the computer to print emails. He helps out in a friend's business and is renting a room from a friend. He lives a tough life as he got separated with his wife, has no home to go to, lives on his own, and travels to Batam quite often. On his shoulder, carries the burden of my Dad's company which is suppose to be close, but not closed down due to some complications.
Conclusion: People usually won't reach the age of 78. In my opinion, they're too comfortable. To the point that they die. It's through a certain amount of pressure, struggle and work that we can all live long.
So... What do I want to do when I am 78?
My Sweetheart replied: "I don't know. Didn't expect myself to live tat long. But if I really live tat long, I wish i'm healthy and mobile. I also hope tat my husband will still be around."
For me: "I hope to write a few books, play an online game. If possible, open a farm. A vegetable (organic) farm. And then sell my vegetable online."
Of course I would hope my wife to be around! It'll be a blast eating my own planted vegetable!
